IJRDO – Journal of History & Geography
Article Processing Charges (APC)
The journal is an open-access journal, self-funded, and not funded by any institution or government agency, namely the IJRDO - Journal of History & Geography. Article Processing Charges (APC) subsides the expenses of manuscript processing, coordination of peer review, editorial, and online publication.
Being an open-access journal, all published articles are free to access by readers all over the world. No subscription or access charges are involved, and therefore, users can read, download, and share research freely, thus leading to increased dissemination of knowledge.
Standard Publication Charges
The Article Processing charges apply once a manuscript has been accepted for publication.
Institutionally or Research Supported Authors
Authors who are funded by a company, a government agency, a research grant, or any other organization must pay the relevant APC, as shown in the table below.
Online Publication Charges
The following fee structure applies based on the type of manuscripts

The APC includes submission management, coordination of peer review, technical editing, formatting, online publication, maintenance of the platform, and long-term digital preservation.
Important Payment Information
- There is a publication fee on accepted manuscripts.
- Publication of articles is done only after the payment is completed.
- Once the manuscript has been put into the publication process, the fees are not refundable.
Open Access Commitment
The journal is published under a completely open access model whereby any content published in it is free of subscription and access limitations. The method increases the visibility, reach, and impact of academic research.
Correction and Retraction Policy
The journal will also be dedicated to being transparent and honest in the publication process,
adhering to the established academic standards and norms.
Minor Corrections
Minor updates, e.g., changes in authorship or affiliations, or metadata, can be requested post-submission or post-publication, and may be approved by the editor.
Major Issues
The journal can take other relevant measures in situations of major mistakes, ethical issues, plagiarism, or publication duplication, including:
- Giving a correction notice.
- Withdrawing the article
- Retracting the publication
- Corrections and Retractions fees.
To request an extension of the deadline, a formal request should be made by the authors to the editorial office, with a clear explanation and pertinent information.
